What You Need and How to Make Chia Bread?
If you want to make your own version of chia bread, then you will need the ff:
- 500 g bakery flour
- 1tbsp dried yeast
- 1tsp of sugar
- 1tsp of salt
- 2tbsp chia seeds and;
- 30ml of extra virgin olive oil
To have a gluten free bread, it is ideal to use bakery flour for it has less strength compared to the traditional flour. At the same time, it’s easier to work with it and it makes the bread lighter. Use a strainer to sift the flour.
Dissolve the yeast in water and then, stir it with a spoon. Add washing and other ingredients in making knead and flour until it’s mixed well. Work on the dough for roughly 5 minutes. Make a ball and use a cloth to cover it. Let it stand for an hour.
After letting it rest, preheat an oven to 180 degrees. When done, place the bread in mold and then bake it again for 30 minutes or until it’s golden brown. Let it cool, slice and enjoy!
